well. the rally was really neat. i didnt actually get to see the nazis because we were a little late. i got some really cool pictures of the crowd. i was really scared at first that something was going to break out but it wasnt bad at all. the police werent being completely ridiculous although im sure some people would automatically disagree with ( Read more... )

I don't feel I'm being closeminded either because I don't think every cop is an asshole. I believe that there are some that have the right intentions. But I also believe that most of them love the power and abuse it. But like you said, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs. And I'm not attacking your beliefs; just telling you what really happened before you arrived.

I didn't but I did hear the same exact thing from at least 10 different people who were there including the people that it happened to.

there are two sides to every story. there are things (friendship, mindset) that effect the stories.

yes, youre right. i wasnt there to see that. so i dont know what happened exactly. i was just talking about what i saw.

first off, death ensues with no matter how many police there are (police dont prevent as many crimes as much as they just "bring justice" to people)

secondly, from a first hand account of me being in the bloc and having to run from police to avoid being beaten and arrested, i can tell you that the police did not remain calm and just stand there and watch...as a matter of fact when i first got down there by my lonesome i was wearing a shirt around my face (the NSM nor the police need to be taking pictures of my face anyways) and 4 riot cops stopped me and ripped the mask off my face and then performed an illegal search on me, when i met up with the bloc we simply marched across the street where the nazis were meeting so we could voice our opinions to them peacefully (orlando direct action was the first group in orlando to call for a non-violent protest, because we werent gonna bring ourselves to the nazi's level and get arrested over 25 ignorant fucks) when we were across the street at least 50 cops formed a line in front of us and ( ... )

and calling us close-minded (i'm guessing you were aiming that towards us) is kind of rude considering you dont really know us too well, its been like almost 2 years since you've hung out with us and i can speak for myself and everyone else in saying that we've changed so much since those days and learned so much from our pasts, and we've definately changed for the better
