Here we go!
I usually stick all this intro stuff before I make the LJ cut, but this time, we're going straight to the birthday post. And so. . .
HAPPY 23RD BIRTHDAY JIN! ♥
Where to start? There's so much to say about Jin. For starters (and a review), he's the "A" of KAT-TUN. Mentioning KAT-TUN means starting off with the music. His voice is absolutely beautiful. I only had to listen to one song of his to decide that (and it was Care), and I really do believe that he has one of the best voices in JE. The fact that he can write his own lovely lyrics makes it even better, and they come from the heart.
With music, comes performing. And I do not need to stress how incredibly sexy Jin is. He knows it and he makes fangirls go crazy even with the slightest move (causing much screaming, fainting, nosebleeding, drooling, etc.) NEVER have I ever seen a guy move his hips like Jin does. NO ONE does hip gyrations better than Jin. In truth, a couple of years ago, I actually didn't like that, but it's a WAY different story now. Many fangirls would probably be willing to pay quite a bit just to see him do live. Aside from that, his overall presence on stage just oozes hotness. The dancing, looks he gives to the audience, pinky licking (HELLO PINKY PERF!); it's all there. Even if he's just standing on stage with a guitar he's got girls screaming his name. Such is the wonder and power of Jin.
But there's another side to Jin that fans adore. He isn't nicknamed BAKANISHI for nothing, yes? Jin may be hot when he's singing and dancing, but he can be very CUTE as well. Especially that Engrish of his, which fans fondly refer to as "Jinglish." Because really, who can say "All go to helicopter sky", "WHY JENNIFER??", "Car shrimp" and get away being called "adorable"? Although now, Jinglish has been replaced, but I’m sure everyone simply loves the way he speaks English now (see press con and last week’s cartoon KAT-TUN!) Other memorable moments include him trying to push open a sliding door, smacking other KAT-TUN members because he didn't win the food, and screaming like a girl when someone touches his collarbone. One thing that must be mentioned is that beautiful SMILE of his. It's so sweet and genuine that seeing him smile and laugh makes me happy.
Let's not forget the acting. Okay, Jin does not have as many dramas as one would expect him to, but I think those three dramas that he's most well known for shows he also has acting talent. Those three would be Kurisumasu Nante Dai Kirai, Gokusen 2, and anego. Kurisimasu Nante Dai Kirai is a mini-drama with only four episodes and Next one: Gokusen 2. Any Akame fan has to watch this to see the cute (and interesting) friendship between Jin's Hayato and Kame's Ryu. Which, of course, spawns off many fanfics. But I loved Hayato's character, a sexy "bad boy" but such a dork as the same time (I mean, he's capable of picking fights and is the class leader but at the same time he rallies a bunch of delinquent students while sitting on a big plastic duck in the park?) With Gokusen 2 came Jin's "ja bye bye" sign. Needless to say, he's been doing that ever since and it is COMPLETE LOVE. Anego showcased a cute and clueless Jin who just loved the main character, even though she was 11 years his senior and put him aside for other older men (but hey, they actually made a cute couple). That was 2005, two years ago. PLEASE GIVE JIN A NICE NEW DRAMA TO TAKE THE LEAD IN. Hopefully with a girl his age?
Jin's personality is unique for an entertainer, especially because he’s a Johnny. Jin is someone who won’t do something if he doesn’t like it and if he likes it, he’ll make sure he gets it. Once he makes his decision, he sticks to it, regardless of what others think. Best example? His decision to take a hiatus and go to Los Angeles to study linguistics in October 2006. Fangirls cried and rumors flew around even until April 2007 when he came back. But, in the end, Jin did come back after half a year. And it seems he’s changed for the better; he’s slightly more mature and he’s a lot happier than when he left. That’s also something about Jin: his feelings are almost never hidden. After all, he’s not perfect and IS a human being (although that sometimes slips everyone’s mind). To wrap this all up, despite his “player” look, Jin does have morals. NO FAKE. (They’re just not there when he’s performing.) He puts his family in front of him, cares for the rest of KAT-TUN, and friends are extremely important to him. Maybe that’s why so many girls adore him. ♥

To Jin: I wish you a happy happy birthday, you're probably (still) spending it with your wonderful friends drinking plenty of beer. :) You've gone down a path that wasn't always smooth, but your hard work will surely pay off. I hope you'll lose the quietness soon and gives us fangirls all those sexy performances we miss so much (and maybe more AKAME interaction!). But don't lose the cute side of your personality. Keep smiling that beautiful true smile of yours and be happy always! We'll always support you! ♥

[CM] Akame - Mario DDR - I never knew they had DDR for Mario until I saw this. Jin and Kame showing off their moves with Mario!
[SC] Akame - Bonnie Butterfly - Their voices together sound so nice. Possibly the most popular song between these two guys.
[SC] KAT-TUN - SHE SAID. . . - I always liked this song, but after watching them actually PERFORM it, I LOVE IT. They all did great, but Jin wins in the perf IMO.
[SC] Jin & Ueda - BUTTERFLY - Jin & Ueda wearing sunglasses while playing guitar and singing this sexy rock song. Notice the power Jin has over the fangirls.
[Clip] KAT-TUN - Sexy Medley - It REALLY was called Sexy Medley. I guess you can say it's pretty hot too. KAT-TUN sings some old songs with Jin singing solo for a big portion of this.
[SC] KAT-TUN wo Abake - KAT-TUN answers three questions but they're wearing cute blindfolds and their voices have been changed so they don't know who's talking. But being KAT-TUN, they don't exactly follow the rules, prompting Jin to scream and think none of the members like him.
[Utawara] Jin with little kids - This really shows how good he is with kids, especially little girls. Look how the youngest one is so attached to him and keeps on clinging on to him!
