Aww, it's lovely. I really like the drawing part that Kaete used on her site.

Don't give up on your art. That would make me sad.

I think the thing that might be bothering you about your bigger pieces is the amount of open space, like the upper right corner of this piece. The art journal stuff has a more-balanced distribution of objects (which is obviously easier to achieve in a smaller piece). You'll get there though, it just takes practice.

you know quite well it's not crap, somewhere deep inside you. it's beautiful. i never expected anything less. and i really did love the idea for this.
