yo, the same shit happens to me, and it's an awful feeling. not being allowed to go to shows. mind you now i'm 19 and i have a car and shit but like, three years ago, i wasn't allowed to see mcr when they were at muchmusic in toronto. i was supposed to go with my best friend becca, we were going to take the bus, i had asked the people at my co-op work placement if i could have that day off because there wasn't too much going on, and it was all fine, and then my mom said i couldn't go, that i had to go to co-op instead, what the fuck, what the fuck. i cried and cried.

i totally understand how it feels to build things up and have them dissipate before your eyes. i'm really sorry that you're going through this and i wish i could sneak down and take you to see the show. that would be a fun show, msi and leathermouth. but you know what? this too shall pass, beautiful, it's so true, this too shall pass. i promise.

oh, also, becca did end up going, giving my ticket to someone else. she got all their autographs for me. i felt like a fool.

ahh, yeah. i mean, it was a few years ago now, but fuck was i bitter. my mom sucks. i'm glad i have my freedom now. i still live in her basement, but i'm in university, so i'm able to hide when i need to. :)
