Well, I started my diet today-- and let me tell you-- EW!

what I ate:
  •  4 crackers.   49 cal  5 from fat (serving size = 2)
  •  6 mini quaker rice snakes. 70 cal   25 from fat (serving size = 10)
  •  I dun remember. 260 cal  50 from fat. (serving size = whole thing)
  •  2 more crackers. 49 cal  5 from fat (serving size =2)

So.. lets count that up!

Sorry but that sort of diet will not work at all. You need to eat fat in order to lose weight and maintain at least 1000 calories a day if not more. By starving yourself of fats, protein and carbs, you're putting your body at risk and you will simply yo yo your weight loss. FYI, 99.9% of diets you'll find on the net and in magazines don't work and very few are created by specialist nutritionists who know what they're talking about. If you really want to go on a diet, speak to a Doctor who has specifically gone onto train in nutrition. Sorry if this comment sounds like an order or a negative but you're just setting yourself up for a fall if you continue to 'diet' this way so its best to get into good habits sooner than later...bad habits are hard to break.

If you need any advice about dieting or anything, ask me, there isn't too much I don't know about it.

Robin, number one.. why the hell are you reading my LJ, and second off I'm not riding my body of fats because I can eat special foods that have what I need but are low cal. Also, I'm not straving myself because I'm fine.

477 Cal is starving yourself no matter how you look at it. Low Cal diets aren't proper diets because you fuck up your satiety levels which ultimately leads to binging. I was looking thru Amanda's friends page and came across your entry and though I'd be nice and make some suggestions and try to be friendly by offering you my experience and knowledge in nutrition.

477 is okay but it went up to like.. 1000 anyway. I suck. lol.

And yeah; it's special diet stuffs. At least I'm not doing this AND diet pills. Though that sounds like a good idea.

i think the regular amount of calories that you can eat a day without going overboard is 2000.

psh i was on a diet not too long ago. i didnt watch calories though, just cut back on food.
