I'm SO glad I quit...
So work completely sucked tonight...why? Because I was the only one there (aside from one member of management). Two people (new hires, mind you) called in, and one was a no call/no show...so it was just me, running the register for all the stupid, lame, rude customers who think I just LOVE what I do.
Not only was I the only one, but we were BUSY...it's a friday night, people shouldn't be out shopping at Walgreens! They should be...other places, anywhere BUT shopping at Walgreens. I mean, come on! And these stupid new employees we got think they can call in on their first week of work? They think they can get away with everything, and most of the management allow it, since us "veteran" employees can pick up THEIR slack. Grr! I'm not there to work for other people, I'm there for myself! Idiots...I can't wait for my two weeks to be up...
My mom told me something interesting she heard the other day, that the only way you'll find a job you're completely happy with is probably when you're self-employed. Seems to be true, I can imagine.
