Author's Note: I did a good amount of studying and paper writing so I took a break and wrote another chapter.

That went pretty well. Jack did a wonderful job calming Jackie down. He is thinking practically, when suggesting Jackie send some of Rose's things along, even in the face of what has just transpired.

I like how you have Jackie worried about marriage, houses, and children and Jack just trying to figure out what was going on inside the Doctor's head. Great dialog again in this chapter. I could see it happening just as you wrote it.

I find Jackie's back handed compliment of the Doctor's looks really funny. “What would Rose want with a man like him anyway?” she complains as he hadn’t spoken at all. “Mind you he’s not that hard on the eyes.” Jack covers his laughter with a cough. “But he’s too old for her! Does he even have a proper house anywhere? She deserves better than this.”

“Well I imagine the fact that he’s asked what she wants was a good start,” Jack suggests.

Because of the "there's a strange man in my bedroom" scene from Rose I figured it'd be in character to find him somewhat attractive even though she's obviously very angry with him right now. The Doctor would be horrified. Jack just thinks it's hilarious though of course.

Too right. Jack would find it hilarious and make sure the Doctor hears about it sometime. As for Jackie, that scene in Rose is pretty funny. I love Nine's reaction to her attempt at seduction.

Oh Jack is never going to let the Doctor live it down. I'm very excited to write that part. I am doing my best to wait until tomorrow night before I write any more chapters though.

Well that went better than expected though thank goodness for Jack. Hes right to be a little upset but I think he understands and knows the Doctor (and Rose) so well. I'm sure he'll be there to help Jackie sort things out.

edit: Oh no I just realised thats all for now. Hits refresh button impatiently. More more more. :D

Haha, I do feel a bit bad for Jackie.

Yeah there really was no chance of them staying put the way Jackie wants.

Jack is not particularly pleased with having to do damage control with Jackie while his best friends elope but he does a surprisingly good job of it at least.

At the moment Jackie definitely would like to slap him. Writing their first encounter post elopement will be quite fun. xD
