Genocide is a result of diminishing ethnic relations among opposing cultures. Genos means race or tribe in Greek and cide is a Latin suffix which mean to kill. The English definition of genocide is “the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious”. Genocide has taken place any many places all over the world.
