Saugerties Memories
I found this on my cousin Dara's Myspace but I posted it here because I thought it was funny. Read it even if you are from Kingston!
1)What part of Saugerties did/do you live in? Blue Mountain Park
2) What year did/do you graduate highschool? 2001
3) Were you a Cahill, St. Mary's, Riccardi, Mt. Marion, or Grant. D. Morse kid? I was a K-town kid till high school!
4) Ever fought/saw a fight at the field? At a bombscare once oh and there was that time Mike O'connor got beaten up in the field but I didn't see it, I just remmeber the bruises on his face haha
5) Do you remember Woodstock '94? YES that was a pain in the ass yet interesting
6) Best Chinese Food Place in Saugerties? Lucky Star (aka Anthony's) mm sushi
7) Remember IGA? YES!
8) Favorite Bar in Saugerties? don't have one, only ever went to Bruno's which doesn't exist now and that was a very random odd event, I go out in K-town when I am home
9) Village or Barclay Heights Diner? Barclay heights Hell yeah!
10) Part of the BHC? no
11) Do you still hate people from Kingston? No cuz I was from k-town, I hate people from Sties and still do
12) Were you in the sit in of 2005? no but heard about it
13) Remember the old post office? yes
14) Mother Goose? Seedlings? Grey Mouse? Ktown kid but never went to pre-school
15) Hung out in Woodstock? Went a few times to go shopping but not really hang out
16) Ever went to Richard Likes' Karate? nope
17) Village or Riverside Pizza? village but really Pizza Star
18) Went to the Orpheum almost every weekend? Yes for a while (like two years but only during school)
19) Remember when the Saugerties Beach was clean? um well i dont think it was ever clean
20) Ever went to Small World? yes but I like Forsythe Park better (Ktown kid!)
21) Remember what it looked like before they built Price Chopper? yeah it was napa that was a long time ago! but yet not that long
22) Remember Grand Union? yes all my cousins worked there
23) Ever got stuck in traffic for over an hour on the 4th of July? Yes unfortunately
24) Have you gotten pierced/tattooed at Marky Mark's? No, I would go to Metamorphsis in Ktown, but I think it would be funny to
25) Went to the Garlic Festival every year? No, I have only been twice, once when I was little and once to work it for Key Club, the rest of the time I avoid sties when it is going on
