Wait a minute... so how is it that he "Used to know everything"? It seems like he stills knows everything including how to get a squirrel to commit suicide and how to communicate with ants... and what does the ant wanting to know where food comes from have to do with this story? And don't tell me the answer is "everythihng". :p

If he still knew everything, he wouldn't have had to play charades to communicate with the squirrel, he could have just spoken to it. The squirrel committed suicide because it hadn't seen another squirrel in months and it was really lonely. The squirrel actually says, "Ain't seen another squirrel in months. sniff sniff . Where they at?."

He wasn't communicating with the ants, he was talking to them in English because he is also so lonely. They didn't understand him. If they did understand him, the ant at the end wouldn't have said he doesn't know where the guy gets the food.
