I was really hesitant to go to WonderCon up until last night, mostly because it's usually a carnival of furries, cosplayers, and people who aren't ashamed (good for them!) to browse row after row (after row after row) of boxes marked "Yaoi." Special bonus points to the guys dressed as the Sesame Street "Yip! Yip! Yip!" aliens.

I saw one film in the whole of 2006, because I hate going alone. None of my friends ever want to go to see either a) stuff I want to see*, or b) anything new**. So all I saw last year was Pirates 2.

* The group that would see films I like comes into the note below; the others are people who WANTED to see stuff like "Epic Movie"
** These are the ones who'll download films first, citing "I don't want to waste money seeing a crap film", not realising post-viewing, they have no reason to go to the cinema anymore.
