I work for Pennwell Publishing which publishes about 50 industry magazines. Most of them are tailored to Oil/Gas/Power industries, but also includes a lot of Technology publications and dental trade mags.
The main part of my job is converting physical magazine's articles and publish them on the web like the ones found here: http://mae.pennnet.com/Articles/print_toc.cfm?p=32§ion=ARTCL (most of them require passwords but this one is open, I think)
The other part of my job is maintaining the web sites. Making changes for the editors, that sort of thing.
