bliss.
Bliss is what Disarray was feeling right about now. After a very long day, she had tied all loose ends, ran errands, finished papers, and even was able to go grocery shopping. Bliss used to be playing a fantasic show to a packed house then drinking and partying til sun-up or when the booze ran out.
Oh, how things change. Now she found bliss in the arms of her husband, Aki'n, in silence.
"Oh! They moved!" she exclaimed excitedly, startling Aki'n, who had been nodding off to sleep. Disarray's hands were on her enlarged belly, nine months pregnent with twins, and a smile on her face. "Feel," she said, placing his hand on her stomach. He smiled warmly at the feeling of his-no, their children already in motion. It was less than a month until their long awaited birth, which he didn't really want to think about the process, as it would more than chaotic. But the aftermath, two sleepy children, one wrapped in a pink blanket and one in blue.
As he returned from his thoughts, he glanced down at his now-asleep wife's face. Aki'n didn't want to move for fear of waking her. He leaned down, planting a soft kiss on her forehead, before shutting his eyes and letting himself slide away into sleep.
