yea havnt updated about anything important that happened in my life for a while, so ill do just that...click on the following cuts if you care to read about them..thankyou :)
My birthday: well i guess ill start on May 8th, my parents took me to the city with my brother, aunt, and babcia. they told me we were going to but discount tickets for a random show. i took pictures with the naked cowboy and talked to my aunt a lot. my parents surprised me and brought me to see WICKED!!! which made me sooo happy and i loved every minute of it. my family really liked it too. my aunt and i were 4th row back orchestra seating and the view was amazing. i got a wicked sweat jacket and then we got ont he train and came home. ordered dinner and then family came over for cake :) and i got presents :D including money, earings, a book on making collage count, and polish choclate. the next day at school was good for me, everyone said happy birthday and was nice, and the day just went well. then i came home and went to dance pictures, which i didnt care for to much. then i came home and got a present from my parents. overall this year my birthday was no where short of perfect i loved it....alot.
My Sweet 16: so i got lucky and got the day off from school randomly. i got up and showered and DK, my mom and i went to get our nails done, well they got manicures, i got tips and a peticure. while i was there i got a call from vinny telling my kristi couldnt go because she broke her foot :( then we dropped DK off and i went to get my hair and make up done. i loved how both came out and it fit with my dress very well. then i came home and put on my long green sparkly dressed and light up heels. we took pictures and we loaded up the car and went to the Westwood. then we set out the gum mint things we ordered and met the DJ and the security guard. we took more pictures,a dn then waited for people to come. then took even more pictures...and in alot of them i was forcing my smile because at that point i was sick of looking at the camera and saying cheese. Panda gave me a pony!!! well, a fish, named pony, which is close enough :) we ate, food was good, food was really good. and then i danced like crazy with all my friends. the DJ had this screen thing that played the music videos of the songs we danced to, which was cool. Quran and the DJ had a dance off thing, i guess you could say, and yea i think Quran won. i was bouncing all over the place to everyone there that night and was having such a good time. i did 16 candles, adn didnt cry much at all, maybe because the music was so loud and i was running everywhere which caused me to be kind of out of it. the DJ messed up the songs slightly, which made me a little angry but i got over it. then there was cake,a dn an ice cream bar. then everyone slowly left. some of us stayed behind a little longer and laughed at vinny and victoria as they inhaled helium and spoke...hahha i <3 them. then it was time to pick up everyhting there and come home. i have to say i'm so happy everyone came and i loved every minute. it was one of the best nights of my life...it really was. id also like to thank melissa and carolyn for letting me use their giant 16 for pictures and the mailbox for the cards.
That weekend i went down the shore with DK adn we tanned and stuff, yea. then we met up with vinny and hung out with him. we walked around OB II, where we saw sean, hes 12 (lol) and wen to the board walk, wehre i had zepolies. we went on this cool scrambler thing and i got a stuffed pony i decided to name fish..cause im just that cool :P we saw all the "mami's and papi's" haha fun times. the weekend was such a good one
Relay for Life: so the relay for life is something that SMAC planned for all year, and it came along soon enough. to sum the night up, it was lots of fun and emotional. the survivor walk was very tough on all of us, and we cried, not to much but enough. then our team spent lots of the night walking, as did the UC team and the peer ministers. Megan got an award for being a really active member of SMAC....yay Megan! i think it went very well and i can't wait to see how many people come and join us next year...i was thinking about getting a La Danse team together? who knows.
Dance Rectial night #1: so there wasnt much to the actual recital for me the first night. i was only in 4 numbers, but it was relaxing and we had it easy. then afterwards me, heather, melissa, mario, kristen, vanessa, pricilla, alaina, and tara tried to go out to eat. Fridays was packed, we didnt even attempt to go in, so heather suggested Hooters, so we gave it a try. heather, melissa, mario, pricilla and i go thtere before the others so we ordered drinks and sat down. according to heather the waitress had "major celulite" and then, the fire alarm went off, and we had to evacuate, just as the others showed up. now it was after 11 and we still hadnt eaten so we decided to go to famous dave's. as we were leaving some guy was attempting to shake his pelvis at pricilla, and since she was oblivious i gave the guy a dirty look and was like "dude whats your problem?" and then was accused of being a lesbian...so much for that. so then we drove a long way to famous dave's which would only be open for another half hour by the time we got there. so we went in and it turns out heather left her cell phone at hooters, so her adn alaina had to go back. we had a retarded waitress who dropped a try of drinks all over the floor right by our table. we were pretty much rushed out but in that time we were able to eat, laugh so ahrd we almost pissed ourselves, divideup the money for the check, and melissa and alaina stoke a fork so she could eat her kids spaghetti in the car. i came home around 1. oh man what a night.
Recital day #2: yea...second show only had 5 numbers, wasnt to hectic either, except for all the drama, yea, lots of it, it wasnt fun at all, and wasnt nessisary, but hey i guess it happens...right? lots if games worth of "you wanna buy a duck?" then my mom and i went to friendly's adn ate until we were going to explode...why..i dont know. then we went and picked up my cocia and babcia and went back to the high school for show #3...10 numbers, almost no time to change...did 2 quick changes back stage. this show was emotional with our graduating seniors and mr. tom leaving. lots of crying and stuff, really sad. then a bunch of us went to the caveleer diner to eat, it was another late night for me...with more games of "you wanna buy a duck?" and jenna attacking my seat. i love my la danse family soooo fucking much <333333333333
