I'm sure at times OTHER people have wished you were straight too. I know I've heard at last one woman say that.

I've never thought you were shallow. Just because you're fashionable and you like your possessions can't take away the fact that you are an interesting person and a really good friend. Anyone who would consider you shallow doesn't actually know you.
