Got home from work exhausted. So I lay down. Nothing. Watch TV, the sound often does the trick. I remember at lest 2 hours passing before I drop off. Then I am awake by 5 o'something. Lay about till about 6:00, so I figure might as well clean the school now. Come back and nothing. My alarm just went off. I'm so tired but still can't sleep

Talk to your doctor, they might be able to prescribe you a gentle sleeping agent.
