What do PC and God have to do with each other?

So, let me get this straight... you're saying that anything that used to be considered wrong will probably be considered right at some point and thats the way it should be? You say "we" when you talk about Christians making social rules so I assume you consider yourself one. But what you're saying is that so many things that used to be social rules are now different and so we need to just accept as "right" and "truth" whatever the "PC" police of our time time tell us?Are the PC police God? Political correctness is just another word for "there is no right and wrong and you can't tell me there is - I make up my own truth". But the only truth that matters, and the only one that you should be concerned with following if you're a Christian is His truth, the rights and the wrongs that He wrote down for us, and whether its comfortable or "PC" to live by His truth or not doesn't really matter. What our society happens to beleive about certain things at the moment doesn't matter. Who created the world, them or GOd? Who had his son die for us

dude, i dont know what i think, i was just saying that it confuses me. i wasn't taking any standpoint on it. and the wbhole thing probably came out as crap because i'm not sure what i think about it. yes, i am a christian but i think im a bit more...for lack of a better word, liberal about it. i don't think that we should abide by the social rules that society or whoever puts into place, but society unfortunately dictates a lot. i just think that its interesting that society has been so screwed up in the past and maybe it wasnt christians but why didnt christians so anything to stop it? the bible says that everyone is created equal in the eyes of God. and i also agree that our country's morals are going down the drain but thats the result of free will. a huge problem that i see, especially being in a christian high school in the area that i live in, is people saying they are christians and then being judgemental and unaccepting of people that are different than them. a lot of christians that i know seem to have this holier than thou

Hey, sorry - I think I came on a little strong before - didn't mean to get on your case. Its just that I have had this discussion with friends alot about the whole PC thing and i just go off sometimes. Society is screwed up becuase we live in a fallen world, but it does sometimes seem like Christians let it happen or are part of it. I thinkk lots of times its because christians are too afraid to stand up for what they beleive and they just let society change in a bad way. I also thinks lots of times christians are judgemental becuase theyre scared of the unknown so its safer to judge than to love. No, you shouldn't shun someone who has different beliefs than you - you should get to know them if you have the chance and if you truly care about them, I think you would want to lead them to the truth. I dont know about you, but I don't want to have to answer to God someday about why I didnt tell someone how they could be saved and only say "Well, they seemed to be happy and I didn't want to impose my beliefs on them". How selfish are we
