Separating AX from drama is like separating a cheetah from its stripes.
Basically, there's big internal changes coming within SPJA (if you thought AX was corporate before, you ain't seen nothin',). I'm ambivalent to the changes, but obviously some people are not. Their reaction was to release a temper tantrum in the form of a Board of No Confidence voting petition, which I think is a ridiculously stupid move.
I know the members of the board very well and know them to be good, upstanding people very focused on looking after the SPJA's interests. Being a longtime staffer, I'm a voter, and it'd take a lot of crap for me to cast a vote against them. As for the new CEO, he's new. The guy has a plan or he wouldn't be making the moves he's made, and whatever that plan is had likely been pitched to the hiring committee before they hired him. He obviously needs more than two freaking months to see if his plan helps the organization

Interesting lineage. Don't forget all the Bel Air/Corvette/Camaro DNA that baby has.
