haha yeah the back of my car is coated with ugly ass flyers for some shit at the tacoma dome this dude keeps sending me them all so i can go remind myself why i dont go to that shit

yup, after doing the vnv, covenant and noisex shows all i had to show for it was...

nothing

except if i had not found a venue and done all of the promotion i would never have seen those bands

but, no one showed up to vnv or noisex (60 people or so) and too many people (more than the clubs capacity) showed up to covenant

i was supposed to be reimbursed for the gas to pick up the bands, and all of the fliers i printed and the money that the venue saved because the bands stayed at my house etc...

but in the end i lost hundreds

but i got to see some good bands, and i guess thats what counts

i figured also that i would get more people to come to the club and listen to me dj, but no one showed for all those years

imagine putting all of you energy into something that only you and a handfull actually cared about

living in colorado sux

so i quit djing, booking, promoting and all around just getting used by venues and national booking agents

i miss it sometimes :)

yeah i do it from the heart...no one asks me to do it but i do it anyways and they know that i do and dont say shit to me about helping out...yet their the ones making money of the shit...
