I hope your car didn't get fucked up...like the axle crackin or something. Doesn't sound too good for a car to be nearly flipping over and driving without a wheel :-X...I'd get it checked out...They might have to pay for fixing a little more than your tire!

wow, that was close-you are very lucky. I can remember when I was very young I was in the car with my parents and my sister and we were pulling up to my Aunt's house and all the sudden, my Dad is like everybody get out of the car NOW! We did and it blew up. Ever since then I freak out when anything out of the ordinary happens. It's a death machine-we forget that sometimes. I also spun out on the freeway once on my way to work and luckily didn't hit anything-I didn't want to drive home that day.

Damn.
I am always worried about that type of thing happening after I have some tire-related procedure done to my car.

BTW didn't that fuck up your 'wheel/brake assembly' (where the wheel goes on)?
What about the brake drum thing?
Did they end up just fixing it at the place or something?

I have to get new wheel bearings or something soon, I guess I will do that Thurday or Friday or something.
