yeah...pretty funny stuff. my friend ran down the street after him trying to get a picture and a woman trying to sell us necklaces had to stop because she was bent over with laughter. :)
it's sure beautiful...but also so extremely poor. we were there to serve most days...but on the off days, i almost felt bad being a tourist. a woman actually tried to mug me. she sliced up my purse with a razor blade. welcome to the third world.
i honestly only travel because God sends me places...i never make plans on my own. funny how that works out. i'm thankful, though, and would love to travel more often.
yes, make sure you travel to as many places as you can. it's a personal goal of mine. you go to a third world country thinking that you will help change it, but it ends up that you are the one who is changed.
