i really like string cheese.
('specially the light kind from trader joes)
i may possibly be the only person in the world who actually craves it.

also...
i dearly love shel silverstein.
i could spend forever herei love the way he can convey the profound with simplicity and innocence ( Read more... )

I think i would have to disagree that you are the only person who craves string cheese. When I was little I would have string cheese in my lunch every day.. 1 for snack time & 1 for my meal. Even today I still sneak string cheese out of my friends refrigerators whenever possible :)

i wonder if string cheese has special powers?
some kinds of string cheese are just not good, though. you havta get the good kind...the kind that actually strings! :)

yeh there is def that gross melty soft kind that I try to avoid... My favorite brand came from costco(known as price club back then), but i forget which brand it was.

ew yes. my mom buys this one kind from costco that's all mushy and soft and doesn't string and i don't like it. bleh.

i just did a whole lesson plan for my fourth graders on shel!
we read about his differnt poems (limricks, ballads & couplets) and then each group wrote a poem of their own!

they loved him too :]

i think about string cheese sometimes. it's true. i don't think there is anything i wouldn't eat with cheese on it. cheese and avacodoes.

shel silverstein is ace. for our first christmas, james gave me a copy of the giving tree, which happens to be one of my top five favorite books. :)

mmm...cheese. :) my sister says she's on a mission to make it it's own food group.

i remember you and i talking about the giving tree way back when. it is proudly on my shelf. i asked for more for christmas from my mom. :)
