- How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are? In my 30's, maybe?
- Which is worse, failing or never trying? Never trying, because you fail then anyway.
- If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do? Necessity, mostly.
- When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done? A lot more than I've done.
- What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world? How hard it is to make and keep money.
- If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich? Reading.
- Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing? Settling for what I'm doing.
- If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently? I'd have done a lot of things differently, that's for sure, and a lot of things sooner. Otherwise, I'd still be on the same track. I'd be middle-aged right now.
- To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken? Not a very big degree.
- Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things? Probably doing things right, especially if I can't do the right things when I'm supposed to.
- You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire. They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend. The criticism is distasteful and unjustified. What do you do? I'd most likely just stay out of the conversation unless it got to a point where I thought I needed to speak up. Then I'd say my piece and be quiet again.
- If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be? Life doesn't hand you anything, you have to work for it, and you might as well start early.
- Would you break the law to save a loved one? In a heart beat.
- Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity? Yes. Harry Potter.
- What’s something you know you do differently than most people? Live?
- How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy? Because no one is ever the same as someone else.
- What one thing have you not done that you really want to do? What’s holding you back? Finally live on my own, with no help from family members. Money is holding me back, but not for long.
- Are you holding onto something you need to let go of? Plenty of things, but some of it is all I have left.
- If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why? I would move to North Carolina or Florida, so I would be close to my friends.
- Do you push the elevator button more than once? Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster? Yes, I do, and I know that it doesn't make it go faster.
- Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton? Worried genius, because even as a simpleton I'd find a way to worry.
- Why are you, you? Because I want to be.
- Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend? Not at all.
- Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you? Losing touch with a good friend who lives near me. I've done it, not completely anyone's fault.
- What are you most grateful for? The way my life seems to be going right now.
- Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones? Lose my old memories, because I have a little one that deserves to be remembered on the way, as well as one already that amazes me all the time.
- Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first? No.
- Has your greatest fear ever come true? I'm not sure what my greatest fear is, so I can't properly answer this one.
- Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset? Does it really matter now? Yes. Not at all.
- What is your happiest childhood memory? What makes it so special? I don't really have any.
- At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? When I was finally able to take care of Frank AND Kiya.

- If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose? Everything I have yet to achieve.

- Why do religions that support love cause so many wars? Because they all want to believe that they are the ONLY ones that are right about anything.
- Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil? No. Sometimes there is a very thin line between the two.
- If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job? No. I'd ask for an extended vacation, though.
- Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing? More work that I enjoy doing. I like keeping busy most of the time.
- Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before? Not a hundred, but a few.
- When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in? When I started writing a few years ago.
- If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today? My mom and dad.

- What is the difference between being alive and truly living? Being alive is just existing, but truly living means that you're enjoying that existence.
- When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right? Summer of last year.
- If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake? Because we don't want to admit that we're flawed.
- What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you? Live.
- When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing? Earlier, when I was reading this.
- What do you love? Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love? My life. I doubt my actions have expressed it, though.
- In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday? What about the day before that? Or the day before that? No. I won't remember them.
- Decisions are being made right now. The question is: Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you? I'm letting them make my decisions right now, but when I have the ability, I'll be making my own again.
