My mother stopped by for all of this past weekend and only the weekend. It was a whirlwind of clothing, shopping and her reassurances to my teachers that I was being cared for despite her staying over the country for the time being. The next big holiday would be Easter, I believe. Now there's a holiday I truly hate. But there're probably stupid little ones dotted between these months, dove.

And the most important date in the Catholic calendar. I know a few who'll be starving themselves for it. Idiots. Still, better than the pagans crying so hard that their little holiday has been largely replaced in the public eye.

I don't think I can care either way the pendulum swings. I'm not overly religious on any particular front.

Well, swimming is for a whihle - perhaps you'll think of some excuse then, Kaoru.

The next holiday, I believe, is the split-desired-for Valentine's Day. You don't seem the sort to look forward to that...
