Now wouldn't that be something performed downstairs.

[He gives a soft cackle. His next words are softly sung.]

Lullay, lully, oh little tiny child, by by lully lullay...

[He stops the sing-song quality.]

Nothing quite like the murder of innocent children to bring home the message of Christmas.

-her own chuckle is very soft, her voice amused-

It is in the nature of the season these days to forget what brought it about and only think of the shopping and taking.

Happy Holidays to me indeed. Pity I don't even believe in Jesus.

Now, now... the snow is not all that terrible.

It's pretty, I'll give it that. But that could be the demon side talking.

I personally love the snow...but to each their own.

As I told the other above...it's pretty. I'll give it that. But that oculd be my demon side liking the purity of it and all.

Self restraint, at best. My mother isn't the most creative when it isn't clothing, so it can only be a certain number of things.

Hmm. Well, there's always the joy of running through it and making tracks in the freshly fallen snow - running like mad, let loose and not having a care in the world...paradise to me, though I know not everyone goes for the same thing.

You already know your mom didn't send you clothes?

Oh, she probably has sent me clothing. New winter dresses or something hand-stitched.

What, Kaoru - you'd prefer war for Christmas?

War? Not necessarily. I just don't buy that everyone automatically feels nicer just because of the season.

No, but the illusion is nice - isn't it? I do, at least when people feel more generous at this time of the year...

It can be, I'll give you that.
