I decided to read the piece you and and am very glad I did.
I find it to be an exceptionally well written piece of prose.
You seem to emulate Stephanie's style of write very well while still being true to yourself and bringing freshness of plot to the piece. (If you have read the partially written book 'Midnight Sun',you will understand exactly what it is I am trying to convey.)
Thanks and take care.

Have you ever read anything that has the opposite effect... As you delve into the storyline and the story you keep shaking your head and mumbling "so and so would never have done that". What was the writer thinking.
I have. I an avid reader. My idea of a diet is to go 'cold turkey' from reading any text...
You remind me a lot of Fred Saberhagen in your ability to keep to a writer's cannon yet incorporate enough of your vision to make the prose refreshingly new and quite readable. Fred was able to combine 2 famous characters into at least 2/3 novels and make all of them believable. I refer to the Dracula-Sherlock Holmes files. These books are a true must reads. If you do decide to read F.S. Dracula books, you will understand I am sure, why I compare your gift of keeping to cannon while adding new dimension to the character with his.
Take care.

Do you read All Human pieces as well? I've always felt those were a bit of a cheat, but then I got into writing one (it was one of these cases where the story sort of wrote itself, if that makes sense), and I was very careful about maintaining the characters' features the way Stephenie created them in her world. It could be just me, being all OCD about it, but it's very important to me to stay true to the origins of the story at all times. I feel like while I'm playing with these characters and situations, they're not mine to alter.
I've never heard pf Fred Saberhagen, but I'll definitely add his books to my ever-growing reading list because it sounds rather intriguing, so thanks for the rec :)

I never considered as to what Edward's perspective would be like and your interpretation of it is just absolutely beautiful - the blend of Edward's masochism, and his teenager self.
