I've started reading Eric/Sookie fan fic (not because I ship them like burning or anything, mostly I'm just here for the pr0ns and I'd rather read Eric/Sookie than Bill/Sookie because Foghorn Leghorn sex IS NOT SEXY) but I keep running into the same problem. Don't quote me on this because my memory is vague... but I have a dim memory of possibly laughingcomplaining about this when I read the book.

hahaha, oh my god. It's just so GOOFY! I'd really hoped it was going to turn out to be a fan-created conceit. Sigh.
