I find it terribly insulting that my work wishes me to do an on-line survey. They assure me it's totally anonymous even when they ask for your SIN Number

That's garbage.

Similarly, one of our mutual friend's office wants him to take a personality test. Myers-Briggs is a well-produced and mostly accurate test. However it is supposed to be administered by a person with certified training from Myers-Briggs. In this case the results are kept and used by HR. No word on to whom HR can disclose them or how they would be used, and certainly no proof they would be administered or later used properly.

It's a simple witch-hunt cleverly administered as a survey to further help with staff and manager relations.

The survey should have came with a pitchfork in my opinion *g*
