Yikes! With all the crappy things that afflicted my wretched "townhouse from hell" (and there were many, from leaky plumbing and floods that caused water to pour from multiple points in the main and second floor ceilings, to the disaster of the washed out foundation that caused the destruction of my basement and garage floors and turned the lower part of the house into a mudpit for a year), I never had roof problems.

My friend Doug has had constant problems with leaks in his roof, and I learned firsthand how annoying those leaks can be (drip...drip...drip) when I rented a room at his place for a while. I hope your roof issues end up being less serious.

I hope you can make it through until spring when you can get a roofing crew up there to make the major repairs.

And audition them first! *grin*

Tell the prospective contractors to show up in their skimpiest cut-offs, so you can see how they look going up and down those ladders...

Seriously, I hope the leaks don't get worse. Hang in there, bud.

Yuor roof, and my car, again. Your problem is holes above, mine was holes below... big sunken manhole in a steeply inclined parking lot.
