Thanks! I knew about the tricks though. It's just odd when people notice you have a bald spot on the back of your neck in such a peculiar shape ;)

You need a work crew to repair holes in a wall and a damaged kitchen? What happened? Hope nothing major.

Nothing major. Sprung a leak between floors. Couldn't locate the leak right away. They thought it might be plumbing upstairs. So, holes were made. Mind you, I wasn't expecting such damage. After they inspected and found the bathroom bone dry, they proceeded to pound holes in the kitchen ceiling. Found that the leak was from an elbow and was spraying something huge. So, a good four foot square was removed and a lot of water came down with it. Apparently, the house is built like a Sherman tank. Also, managed to leak down the inside wall separating the stove and pantry. Which in return, leaked down into the basement. Just a huge comedy of errors. But nothing expensive got ruined. More annoyed that the leak was between floors. I've always said there were never enough shut off valves in this house!!

Ugh. What a pain. At least it wasn't major and there was no structural damage. That's when it gets *really* expensive.

I agree with you about shut off valves.
