So now I am converting my customer service resume to a sales resume. The Rona job fair was crowded. Not everyone who came had interviews. There was a pre-math test on the back of the application form. If would have helped if I remembered the conversion of decimals into fractions. I knew how to answer most of the questions. I had to look it up but maybe this will help.

Whenever you have a decimal, count the number of digits after the decimal point. In this case you have 3 places, so write 1000 (three zeroes).

Now write 625 over 1000.

625
------
1000

Then reduce. Look for multiples of 2 and 5 to reduce: For example, you can divide top and bottom by 5:
125
------
200

But then you can do it again with another 5:
25
----
40

And again:
5
--
8

That's it.

Thanks for the key info. Might be handy for me to remember this. Btw, no calculators were allowed. Good thing I can divide/reduce with pen and paper
