Depression

The ability to transform the mood you're in at will would be a nice quality to have. It's such a hard thing to do. I'm not sure if anyone has that capability and can do it effectively, but it seems to me like it would be a great sign of inner strength. I know what you mean. But when I'm in bad moods, usually I'm not the kind of person to exactly show it. I'm more of an upbeat person to begin with. But I think maybe you do need days where everyone needs to just back off and you just need that bad mood. Like you said, you have those moments of clarity. They just need to happen more often. When I get down I always think of my dad and the quote he's basically engrained in my head.
"Don't sweat the small stuff". It really does help. For me anyway. I don't know, maybe the next time you get in a down mood, you'll think of it.

Up
