Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (NOT to be confused with Sodium LAURETH Sulfate, which I believe is harmless) has been shown in studies to be a carcinogen (sp?) as well. I didn't know about isopropyl. Now I want to check all my stuff. Does the soap company have facial cleansers? Nevermind, I'll just go check it out myself.

yes, in fact their Island Rx soap can be used for anything. I use it as a shampoo and a body soap. It works better than any shampoo i've used, although it does not condition.

ps. "A variation of SLS is SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE (Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate- SLES). It exhibits many of the same characteristics and is a higher-foaming variation of SLS."
