I was thinking if I do get this book / trilogy together do I take it to a publisher first or get a copy right on it first? :/ You can get a copy right on works in progress...meh. Just thinking, I really should publish it.
if you get the copyrights first, you'd have to sell them to the publisher or they'd have to pay you for every time it's printed. it sounds good, but knowing this, it may be harder for a publisher to want it. of course, you might not want them to just swipe the book and leave you with nothing.
