Um. You can't talk about all that and not post pictures. (The house, not the boob, please). Seriously. Remodeling? PICS, woman! PICS!

Glad you are home. Glad Sebi is home. Glad things are moving forward and you are on the mend. Think you should probably take a deep breath and let Remus' hair grow. No...wait. I mean, relax a bit and let go. Realistically, you can't control the timing of all this, and it's freaking you out. It will all work out. Just enjoy your updated house and your dog (and the cats if they still exist and will forgive you for not mentioning them). Go write some 'Thing Shaved Remus' Head, Dammit' fic.

Still appreciating you for Caustic Soda. I may need a t shirt. (I still think the rec for Deliverance Dane might have been an indication of Serious Issues).

ACK!! I have been away from LJ for so long, and then I come back and find this horrible news!

Many many hugs, a few therapeutic G&Ts ( just remember, the gin is medicinal, the tonic keeps up your fluid, and the lemon or lime is good for Vitamin C!!), and I hope the wound settles down a.s.a.p. so you can start on the chemo. Did they have to take out any lymph nodes, or just 'the lump'? Hope they got it all, anyway. And I am totally with you on the reconstructive surgery!! Why go through any more surgery than you absolutely have to? There are enough hassles with ordinary recovery and then chemo, without subjecting your body to something that is essentially cosmetic. Will call you and have a chat.

"New' house sounds wonderful, and yes, we want pics. And bet Sebi is glad to have you back again. :)

Glad you are being well taken care of - that is the most important thing!! I hope the wound continues to heal, and chemo goes well. Remember that even if you enjoy work, it's just one fact of who you are - and you have to take care of you to be able to get back to it! <3

Thanks! I'm doing great all things considered :). Chemo has been kind to me and I will be done with that in January (yay) so I am already planning what to do when I have my one year clean sign off this coming summer. But I certainly am looking forward to saying adios to 2013.
