I just sat down to play guitar... (over two hours ago).. and can't stop playing. Man, this is addicting, and incredibly relaxing. I should do this more often. Screw school work, and my scarf that I'm STILL working on for my mom (Gryffindor scarf! Yay!)- it's all about guitar now.

Haha, mine too! It's actually kinda gross when you look at it- the skin is now coming off. But it's still so awesome when you get the calluses, because then the fingers don't hurt! Wee!

Thanks :)
This time around, it's electric and I'm finding it much easier on my fingers (and psyche) than acoustic. I'm so awkward with acoustic, so the thinner body and easier-to-press strings are a huge plus.

aw, I LOVE playing electric- not only because it's easier on the fingers, but also because of the many sounds you can make!

Ooh, voice lessons - awesome! I've been in vocal training myself for a month now; it's great stuff, eh?
Sounds like you have a wonderfully reputable teacher, too!

I can't relate to guitar-playing, but lately I have my share of calluses too - there are hard bits on the palms of my hands from weightlifting. But if that's the price to pay for being able to lift ridiculous amounts of weight - bring it on!

Glad to hear all is well. :)

o0o, nice! It certainly is awesome! I already feel better about my singing. Yeah, Bonnie's awesome. She has a fantastic voice.

You lift weights? Cool! How is that going?

Are you back at Trent this year?
