Mis, God of Misunderstandings

Also known as the Creator of Confusion, the Daemon of Delusion, the Maker of Mistakes, Mis, God of Misunderstandings, is responsible for more social schisms than skin color, more embarrassment than Flie, the trickster god of pants, and more wars than the God of Religion.

Interesting. But, isn't shapeshifting covered through other attributes? alternate form, metaporphosis, ...argh... power flux? power flux is sucky, though. ... if all ze does is make zirself appear nondescript and opposite gender from the viewer, wouldn't a permanent, reduced cost/really specific mind control with a TON of targets work better? That way, ze really could appear different to each and every person. toss in a power flux/power variation with some points for size change and.. i dunno, something to sculpt cosmetic/chromatic changes for when ze wants to appear as someone specific...?

what's the impaired speech for? does he only make animal noises?

lol, I didn't even think of dimensional portal for my poor Woodpecker. Poor thing's stuck in the forests of Man, or reduced to hitchiking.

...haa. Flie, trickster god of pants. I just got it. :)

Hm... Actually, I had forgotten I left shapeshifting in there. Yeah, I'd probably take it out in favor of your minor mind control suggestion. Doesn't actually change appearance; just that the initial impression is always of the opposite gender (and isn't really refuted, for that matter).

The impaired speech is because a God of Misunderstanding certainly shouldn't be able to / allowed to communicate easily. :) Goes completely against the idiom. Now, scream in pain, that should be allowed (hence why it's only 2 ranks instead of 3).

I'm sure there would probably be a "god" template that would be used should this setting be formalized, so I wouldn't worry about what was included/forgotten.

And yes, I was rather proud of that one, although it was suggested that Flie should actually be Flei, after the German spelling/pronunciation. Perhaps this means it would actually be worth fleshing out. ;)

I'd argue for just one level of impaired speech. since ze's the god of misunderstanding, ze should be able to control zir's power when ze really wants (misunderstanding isn't all about falsehoods after all). But i'm just being contentious. ;)

If you put in a template, you'd have to raise the total points used, I think.

fliegen (flee-gen, with the 'g' as in 'gross'), is the german version of "to fly." ;)

were you talking about fleshing out the trickster god of pants, or the game idea of battle-of-the-gods?
