This is [edited] a comment I left on someone's journal today. Maybe someone else will get something from this story.I used to wear a W.W.J.D. ring on my left ring finger, and it symbolized purity and everything for me. i have the same kind of ring on my left hand too. i got out a lot about what you said. actually, that entry basically answered one of my prayers. praise God! i left some replies on your LJ before that sounded very confused and depressing and bitter and blah blah blah but last night i listened to this tape i had gotten at Creation. a ton of things flooded into my head and at least now i'm looking for God's signs for me. this entry happened to be one of those answers. haha i was being such a fool drifting away from God, i just wanted to thank you, lee lee, for being so bold and being here for me and anyone else that needs your help. Praise God that he sends people like you into my life. :)

thank you for posting. I can relate so much, I have a ring like that I wear too and sadly, when it was off I made some mistakes too.. but God is gracious and has used that also to help me minister to others.. I know what you mean when you said when you stop looking for companionship high and low it will blindside you- i've seen that happen in so many other people's lives too.

It's happened to me! I'm single right now, but my best relationships were the ones that came about when I wasn't looking for anything, because it's then when I was seeking God with my whole heart.

I'm so glad that people can relate and maybe got something out of this.
