hey...i came to respond to your entry in armyofchrist....Jesus came to earth...to prepare the world to behold the glory of The Father...without him..all things burn in his glory{like mt.sinai}...he will set his glory on the earth as on mt. sinai...and like the lambsblood on the doors......all things will die without the son....God created us with freedom...jesus taught us how to avoid destroying ourselves with freedom....peace be upon you...may the darkness part before you......

Sorry, I made the entry friends only after a while. I can add you to my friends if you'd like to read the rest of the comments.

I eventually concluded that just because we have only one motive behind our actions doens't mean the Creator of the universe has the same limitations. God understood that Jesus' death would bring both glory to Himself and save us. Why should He have to only have done it for one reason, and not both? Bring glory to Himself meant saving us, and saving us meant it would bring Him glory. That's my perspective now, anyway.
