National Merit Thing Update: I didn't get selected to go on to the semi-finals, so I remain a "Commended Scholar." Hopefully, that means I'll get some scholarship money or something like. *sigh* Last night we put down my dog Pearl.  We got her when she was about 2 and we had her for about 10 years, so she lived a good long time.  They say she probably had internal bleeding of some sort.
