I'll see you at wings tonight. You'll make it through. This may be something you have to stand back and watch, because there's probably nothing you can say to change the way he feels. Be as suppportive as you can stand to be, and don't feel guilty for missing any hypothetical signs. You probably saw as much as he would let you see.
