For my short stories and novels class we had to read The Death of Ivan Ilych. I wasn't looking forward to it because it's a 35 paged short story. Real short, right? It's a story starts out with the death of Ivan Ilych then goes thirty years to the past and starts his biography pretty much. He is a high court judge that separates his home life

I don't think I'm afraid of death, although I don't expect to die anytime soon so that could be part of it. I just feel that if I were to die tomorrow I've lived a decent life.
As far as the money goes, sure it's nice to have a huge house, a fancy car, and whatever else you want to buy, but it's sad if people can't take some happiness just from the fact that they're alive and experiencing the world around them. I can find happiness just watching the clouds float by on a nice day.

Education should be free, or a small cost. More people would go to school that way, I believe. The world would be such a better place too...at least that's how I imagine it would be.
