I totally agree because now theres going to be a male directing. I just dont see how a guy is going to capture the essence of New Moon.

It's not so much that he's going to be a male, but the fact that he won't be as enthusiastic and UNDERSTANDING of the source material AND the fans as Catherine is/was. We're not the easiest fandom to please, to be honest. That's what worries me the most - that because of Summit's greed everything we've basically worked for - and it was US as a fandom force that MADE THIS MOVIE AS BIG AS IT IS - will be for nothing.

I swear, this guy better start reading the saga and loving it and going online and talking with fans on message boards. Snooping around finding out everything about this fandom. He needs to please us or things wont be happy. He also needs to please the actors too because I saw a article saying Rob and Kristen are pissed, and I dont blame them. They both only did Twilight because of Catherine.
