This hospital has become more like a prison and less like a place of rest and healing. I cannot wait until I'm out of here for good.

I wonder if anyone has been checking on my house. I have plants that need watering and the mail must be piling up...

Unfortunately, I have no books- worth reading or not. It's very boring.

I'm sure I could find some way to come see you, if you want. I'm not hallucinating anymore, so I don't see why I have to be stuck in my room.

It would be nice to have a visitor. I'm not longer hallucinating either and I'm hoping they let us all leave soon.

Physical therapy has left me drained lately. Sorry I haven't come to visit more often. I'm usually so tired, so I rest up and then by the time I'm up, I'm not allowed up.

It's quite alright, focus on getting better and regaining your ability to walk. I'm sure we'll see each other soon.

I just underestimated the added weight of a hip to ankle cast. I'm having to build upper body strength to handle it so I don't fling myself hither and yon when I attempt to use my crutches which already nearly happened.

That must have been an interesting thing to witness. I'm sure once you adapt you'll be unstoppable.

The plants and mail can wait for you. If it helps, once you're out of bed arrest, I will be more than happy to keep you busy with the loads of paperwork you've missed. Look forward to it.

I don't even want to think about how much work has possibly built up since I've been in here. If you like, you can bring anything that could be handled over the phone to me, leave it with one of the doctors, and I'll start going through it. Thank you.
