Technically I probably won't really start learning the new position for another two weeks; I start getting paid for the new position this Friday. A raise of $1.41/hour and come January 2, 2009 I'll get another $.97/hour when the 5% raise goes though for everyone. ^_^

I interviewed for the new gig yesterday. It's not really a new job, more of a promotion, but to the state it's a new job. I was the only internal candidate and I've already been recommended for the position. Now it's just a matter of getting the word from HR at the system office as to whether I get the job and at what pay rate. My boss was cool ( Read more... )

It's a financial website that pulls info from checking, savings, investment, credit card, etc websites and compiles the info into graphs and other easy to read and understand budgeting reports.

No internet make me crazy.

My Mom's cable box doesn't seem to have fared to well either. Yet the box upstairs seems to be working fine.

After an hour without water we have to be sent home because the bathrooms cannot be used. So I got to come home today around noon. ^_^

Go out right now and find yourself a bag of the Pumpkin Spice Hershey Kisses that have come out for Halloween/Thanksgiving. I find them quite tasty. I also got a bag of Candy Corn Hershey Kisses, these aren't bad... a little strange because while I think the taste is dead on, the texture is of chocolate so they're smoother than regular candy corn

I was on for a bit, then it disconnected me, reconnected, then my wireless adapter couldn't find my wireless signal. Could the wireless adapter have gone bad on me already? There was a console update that I d/l'ed today, might that have done something?
