i need some help and livejournal/myspace are probably one of the best places to get it.

does anybody have a general idea of how to go about booking a band?
like what types of things need to be considered?
what do i say to the venues?
am i supposed to arrange for a place to stay?
etc...

I have a friend who is really into booking and just started to book her first show with this place up here in Queens.I'll ask her if to like e-mail you or something like that and get you two in touch.

cuz im trying to be mr. obsessive band-aid and work something out with the burning season...
they're going on a tour with across five aprils and calico system and i really want the 3 of them to come to atlanta, so im trying to see if i can maybe work something out...

haha...thats IF i book it...i left the guys a message if they wanted to play atlanta, but i havnt gotten a response yet...so i dunno...
its the burning season on tour with across five aprils and calico system...3 hella good bands...and their tour stops right before atlanta so i'm trying to see if they wanna go one more city and i'll set everything up for them or whatnot...

i'm sure you will figure it out. i havent heard "the burning season" and "calico system" but i do like "across five aprils".
