So Susan("my mother") forced Jay("my father"), me, and her into counciling last year cuz the violence level got so high in the house.....well we figured out that me and Jay will never work things out, partically b/c he's an alcoholic and cant remember wut he did the day before cuz he drinks himself to sleep each night....and partically b/c i refuse

1. i'm truly proud of you for realizing what Jay does is terrible. some kids go their lives convinced that it is their fault when truly the abuser has something very wrong with him/her
2. jen.. i'm so sorry. really. i know people prolly say that to you a lot when they hear that. but trust me.. i really mean it
3. you are really strong.. usually the parents are reflected in the face of the child (literally and not literally) and you are not at all like them.
