OMG, Sarah, I'm such an aweful friend. I have been keeping up to date more or less with your posts on here, but for some reason, it didn't sink in how serious this is. I will pray for you that your surgery goes well. I would assume that you're probably not headed back to Ohio for the holidays, but there is a potential that I may have a business trip out there in January. I will do everything I can to see that I am the one that comes out to Chicago and make sure to find time to come visit you!!!! Know that my thoughts are with you luv!

Awhhh Shelly, you aren't an awful friend. I've been kind of keeping to myself these past couple of months. It's really not your fault, and honestly I didn't think it was that serious at first either. Either way, I do hope to see you either if you come out in January or if I get a chance to go home for christmas. I am not sure if I am going to be able to or not, but I'll try.

Thank you so much for the thoughts and well wishes :)

I'll be thinking about you... nice thoughts, too, not unpleasant ones!

All joking aside, I hope the surgery goes well and that the shunt gets rid of the headaches. And I also hope you get to go see the new Bond movie before your operation.
