Someone followed a pair of students to a Las Vegas school and shot them in the parking lot as the result of some seriously mishandled road rage. The kids are doing alright and aren't going to die from the injuries, but this sort of stuff really just needs to stop happening ( Read more... )

More and more, I have been getting a little bit anxious about going abroad again. Not for any of the expected reasons, but because I don't want to have to defend the actions of my country. Every year I've got to fill out my FAFSA form in order to make sure I get money to go to college for the following year.
