Hee. In regard to Dean's hair, I think it's a bit longer than what we used to. In majority of the episode, he was sporting a little wisp of a bang which makes him more like Alec than Dean IMHO -- younger, prettier, but with less of a badass attitude ( ... )

LOL, i'm not a crowley fan though i dig his choice in music. :P since i'm a spoilerphobe, i was thrilled to see julian ritchings and mark pelligrino's names in the credits ( ... )

Lol BB, as long as Jensen keeps appearing on screen, I wouldn't be able to not staring at my TV screen. With that being said, I have to admit my obsession will dwindle if Dean doesn't have a story arc as what it's appear to be based on this episode and what came out of Comic Con. By story arc, I don't mean Dean appearing in every frame, looking pretty and suitably worried. I mean his character actually going somewhere that hasn't been before ( ... )

you know what's funny is that i'm seeing it from dean!girls and sam!girls - the dean!girls don't think he's got a storyline, and the sam!girls are mad at dean for not dropping everything to save sam last night! O.o
i'm just glad ours is a passionate fandom. :p

hmmmm, i pretty much think that as far back as season two, it was pretty much dean-centric; true that the focus was on sam and the demon blood thing, but it was really about dean's decline into his private hell due to guilt and angst over what his father did for him, and himself feeling powerless to help sam.
in season one dean was wistful for a normal life, as subtlely demonstrated in "something wicked"...and then of course, in season three's "DaLDoM" and "AVSC."

until i find something else that rocks my world more than SPN, i'm going to enjoy the ride and i invite you to come along! ♥
if nothing else, my friend - we have to drool over jensen!

Right now I'm just watching it for my pretty Dean and nothing else. It helped with my feeling with Castiel. I don't even care if he's on screen or not. :)

Alas, if the show is going in the direction I think it's going based on what I see here, it will very much be the case for me too -- Just watching the show for pretty Dean. Sadly it would be a pale shadow of what the show used to mean to me. I don't think I would ever abandon the dhow entirely as long as the gorgeous Jensen continue to grace the screen, but if there's not much happening with Dean, I certainly wouldn't be dropping everything I had going just so I could catch the show any more.

As a fan of Jensen, I can't help feeling bad for the actor to be stuck on a show with his calibre of talent when the showrunner isn't even interested in developing story arc for his character.

Dean looked extraordinarily pretty during the hour. Sam too, handsome that is. But saying that is like stating the sky is blue. The sad part is despite looking delectable on screen, Jensen Ackles was relegated to a background supporting role here. His character only had as much to do as Bobby in this episode ( ... )

Hee, sweet Anastasia, at least we still have the supernatural gorgeousness of the boys. That is constant. ;)

Even though I didn't explicitly state in my review, but I'm with you here that I would keep watching the show as long as the boys stay on. No matter what, the show has established as one of my favorite programs of all time, and Dean Winchester is one of my favorite fictional characters I've encountered, so I won't give up on it easily. But I'm beginning to think Sara probably is a very good screenwriter, yet she's still too green to be a showrunner. I just hope the protracted stay on the show won't affect boys career negatively. Who knows, Hollywood is fickle, so much rides on luck. I just wish our boys the best. They deserve a shiny career.

Holy sh*t! How did the thread get frozen?!? I didn't even know it can be frozen until you pointed out. I'm so sorry hon, I have no idea how that happened, but I found the "Unfreeze" link and clicked it, so I think it's fine now.

Sweetie, you would never offend me, and I always love to hear your thoughts, whether you share the same opinion as mine or especially you thought of something different.
